Carmen’s Story

Carmen started her catering business 20 years ago in Queens, New York, as a way to stay at home with her children while running her own business. She first started making and selling tamales. Once her tamales rose in popularity, she started adding more and more Peruvian dishes.

While in New York, Carmen was contracted by the Peruvian consulate to cater several events as well as la ONU (Organizacion de las Naciones Unidas).

After 6 years Carmen’s Delicias moved to Maryland, where she was reffed to the Peruvian Embassy in Washington DC. Also catered the Organizacion de los Estados UNIDOs (OEA) children’s festival for six years.

Ever since moving to California, Carmen has participated in Peruvian festivals from LA to SF. Her customers have always called her food exquisite and delicious, hence we’re happy to offer Carmen’s Delicias to cater your next event.
